My experience was quite disappointing. The gym and swimming pool were public, leading to overcrowding and making it hard to enjoy the amenities. Moreover, I found that the sauna and Turkish bath were not operational during my stay, which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to using those facilities. Overall, the value for money seems off compared to other options in the city, especially when the view is not the main reason for choosing this hotel.

Good for a laid-back couple getaway

We loved the hotel! Breakfast was great, a lot of variety and the sweet/pastry changed every day. The room was incredible, large and had a decent bathroom. An amazing balcony with a view of the pool. It was a nice escape from our usual lives and allowed us to relax.

It wasn't cheap, but you know, still reasonable enough for what we received.

Our family spent two nights here, enjoying the breathtaking ocean view from our balcony. The breakfast spread was delightful, especially the fresh local breads. A highlight was the staff's responsiveness—they returned a treasured item I accidentally left. Make sure to enjoy a sunset near the pool!

The decor and furnishings seem to be lagging behind modern standards, with some carpets showing significant wear. The breakfast coffee leaves a lot to be desired, coming from a machine rather than freshly brewed. Also, I found the inconsistency in room amenities a bit frustrating, such as the lack of proper hot water at times and insufficient towels available in the pool area.

This was just a great fit for a temporary stay in Angra do Heroismo with fantastic value for money. I really enjoyed the breakfast, it was good and filled me up for the day. Make sure to check the room for the correct bed arrangement before settling in.

The location at Terceira Mar is unbelievable. Every room has a gorgeous view of the ocean. I really enjoyed the beautiful outdoor pool area and the gardens surrounding it. My room was spacious and came with a king size bed that made it very comfortable to sleep. I appreciated the welcome fruit platter and the bottle of wine in my room. it felt personal. However, I experienced long wait times when trying to get service at the bar, which was frustrating. On two separate occasions, I waited more than half an hour for someone to take my order. I also noticed that the breakfast options were pretty repetitive after a few days. If you wanted anything other than scrambled or hard-boiled eggs, you had to pay extra, which seemed a bit ridiculous. The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful, but the ones at the pool bar seemed to be a bit lazy and inattentive. Overall, the hotel has great potential, but it definitely needs to work on its service speed to match the stunning views.

This place suits me perfectly! I appreciate the free Wi-Fi, the lovely outdoor dining area, and the superb spa facilities. The staff were incredibly helpful during my first stay, guiding me on shopping spots. I highly recommend enjoying their massages for relaxation. I'm excited to return for Easter!
